About Horstman & Co. Landscaping

A July evening in Stigler holds the day's heat in the pavement long after the sun is behind the hills, and the cicadas run their engines in the hackberries. Horstman & Co. Landscaping works lawns in town and along the roads toward Whitefield and Quinton, mowing at the cooler ends of the day when grass and people both do better. Bermuda takes this heat and asks for more, so the answer is a taller cut and a steady weekly line that never shocks the turf. Trim work goes around fences, mailboxes and porch steps, and then the walks are cleared. There is a particular version of a summer yard — deep green, level, edged — that makes an entire street feel cooler than it is.
