The Grass Whisperer

About The Grass Whisperer

August evenings in the cross timbers arrive with a wall of cicadas in the post oaks, and the air only lets go somewhere around eight o'clock. The Grass Whisperer reads a lawn the way you would listen to that sound, for what it is quietly telling you. Blades set high when the heat is stacking up, trimming eased back where roots run shallow, clippings cleared so nothing mats down overnight. Shawnee ground turns red and stubborn by midsummer, and a yard that comes through it still green has been paid attention to. The name reads like a joke and turns out to be the method.
