About Varnells Small Engine Repair & lawn care services

Nothing out here gets cut until something with a pull cord agrees to start. Varnells Small Engine Repair & lawn care services keeps both halves of that in hand — a bench where mowers and trimmers get put right again, and a truck that goes out to mow, edge and clean up yards around town. Seiling sits where the highways meet, and the country west of it climbs toward gypsum hills that go bone-white in the sun, so grass here grows in short hard bursts between rains and has to be caught at the right week. Evenings, once the heat lets go and swallows are working the air over the crossroads, is a fine time to walk a finished lawn and see the rows sitting even. Then the deck gets scraped, the blade gets an edge put back on it, and tomorrow starts on time.
