About Not Your Average Joe Handyman

North of Pawhuska the tallgrass runs unbroken to the horizon with bison somewhere out in it, while the town itself sits down among sandstone hills where the streets climb and drop. Not Your Average Joe Handyman keeps yards in that up-and-down country — mowing across slope, trimming around retaining walls, stone and steps, edging where walks cut into the grade, then clearing the cuttings off. Hillside lots take longer and repay the extra pass, since a line shows more on a slope than it ever does on flat ground. Osage County weather swings from a soft green May to a hard August, and the mowing schedule bends with it. A kept yard in a hill town is visible from three streets away.
