About Lewis Lawn Care, LLC

By late July the red dirt around Okmulgee has baked hard as brick and the cicadas run all afternoon like one long held note. Lewis Lawn Care, LLC starts early to get ahead of that heat — mowing at a height that lets the grass shade its own roots, trimming fence lines and mailbox posts, edging where turf creeps over concrete. Cut too short in an Oklahoma August and a lawn scorches; cut it right and it carries its color through the dry stretch. The clippings come off the walks, the gate gets latched, and the yard looks as though nobody was ever there except the grass got shorter. That is the entire idea, week after week.
