About Willis Lawn Services LLC

Late September on the south side of Oklahoma City, the light comes in long and gold down the streets above the Oklahoma River, and the pecans start letting go all at once. Willis Lawn Services LLC keeps yards on that end of town — mowing while the grass is still pushing, trimming close along fence lines and flower beds, cutting shrubs back off the porch rail, and clearing leaves before they mat down over the turf. Summer here runs loud with cicadas and cracked at the edges by heat, so the mowing stays steady and patient; fall turns the same route into rakes and cleanups, and a yard goes into winter tidy instead of buried. The last pass of the day is the good part, when the blower goes quiet, the walk is swept, and the whole lot reads square from the curb. Wind off the Stockyards, kids cutting through the alley, a lawn squared away before supper — that is the work.
