About Sirius Lawn Services

In January the star this company is named for hangs low and hard in the southern sky, bright enough to steer by over the water at Lake Stanley Draper. Sirius Lawn Services starts near that hour, when frost still holds the grass stiff and the whole southeast side is quiet. Winter is clearing work — leaves off dormant turf, beds cut back, debris hauled, edges reestablished so spring has something clean to grow into — and then the mowing schedule picks back up with the first warm run of weather. Trimming, edging and a full blow-down close out every visit, dormant season or not. There is something clean about arriving before a street is awake and leaving a yard squared away before anyone has seen the truck.
