Craig's Lawn Care

About Craig's Lawn Care

Late in the day the old highway through Yukon turns amber, the grain elevator letters catch the last of it, and the grass gives up its heat in one long breath. That is Craig's Lawn Care's favorite hour to finish a yard — mow, edge, trim the fence line, then clear the clippings off the drive while the light is still good. Yards out this way take the full brunt of an Oklahoma summer, so the cutting runs steady from April on and picks up again when the leaves come down. Seasonal cleanups pull the beds back and clear the leaf drift before winter turns the Bermuda brown. A crisp edge along a sidewalk at sundown is a small thing that a whole street notices.
