About J-Cris Family Lawn Care

Saturday morning on Capitol Hill, SW 25th is awake early — pan dulce, radios, kids on bikes — and a block behind it the mowers start up. J-Cris Family Lawn Care runs spring routes through those near southwest streets, small lots with big character, where a tidy yard is a point of pride visible from the sidewalk. Mowing, edging along the walk, trimming the fence line and around the porch steps, and everything blown back off the concrete before the gate closes. Little yards are unforgiving; there is nowhere for a crooked line to hide. By noon the block is quiet, the grass is even, and the smell of it hangs around until evening.
