Norman Yard Services

About Norman Yard Services

Dawn comes up low and gold over Norman, sliding across bermuda still silvered with dew. Norman Yard Services is a lawn care outfit that likes being out in that hour, when the first pass of the mower lays a dark stripe down a front yard and the red dirt at the bed lines shows its true color. The work has plain names — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and driveways, blowing the concrete clean — and every one of them is visible from the street when it's done right. By the time the heat leans in off the prairie, a whole block can be standing straight and squared at the corners. A crisp edge along a Norman sidewalk makes its own case, and it never has to say anything twice.
