Beale's Land Services

About Beale's Land Services

On the north edge of Norman the Canadian River spreads out wide and mostly sand, cottonwoods leaning in along the banks, and the grass past the levee grows however it likes. Beale's Land Services takes the ground that gets away from people: overgrown lots, fence lines gone shaggy, back acres where a push mower stopped being the answer somewhere in June. Brush comes down, tall growth is cut back to something a person can walk through, and the debris leaves on the trailer instead of sitting in a pile by the road. They work Norman and the open country around Noble, Slaughterville and Lexington. What was a thicket at breakfast reads as a field again by supper.
