AK Lawn Care

About AK Lawn Care

Out at Lake McAlester the water goes flat and copper an hour before sundown, and the cicadas take over the timber. AK Lawn Care works those long evenings, when the bermuda has given up its shine and a mower can move without punishing anybody. The routine doesn't change much — mow, trim around the posts and the mailbox, edge the concrete, clear the cuttings away. Come dark, the yard has that combed, even look you can read from the road. It's a good thing to leave behind in a town where people still sit outside after supper.
