Green Line Lawn Care

About Green Line Lawn Care

The first cool front of September comes down the old cattle-trail corridor into Marlow with the wind out ahead of it, and by sunup the prairie grass along US-81 is bent all one direction. Green Line Lawn Care starts early on mornings like that, mowers off the trailer while the dew still holds the dust down. There is a line where a lawn ends and the sidewalk begins, and getting it clean and straight is most of the pleasure of the job — that, and the sound a yard makes right after it has been cut. Mowing, edging, trimming and hauling the clippings away, week after week, keeps a place looking like somebody lives there and means it. Marlow yards, Duncan yards, Rush Springs and Bray: the route runs north and south with the highway.
