Landscape & More

About Landscape & More

Spring reaches Madill on a warm south wind off Lake Texoma, and Marshall County goes green nearly overnight, pasture and roadside and every yard in town at once. Landscape & More meets that surge with ordinary tools and an orderly habit: mowing on a set rhythm, edging along walks and driveways, trimming around trees, posts and flower beds, then blowing the hard surfaces clean at the end. The red clay here holds water after a storm and bakes hard by July, and a lawn gets cut differently in each of those moods. Out toward Kingston and Mannsville the properties spread wide and the mowing takes longer, which is fine, since the finished look matters more than the clock. Few things read as clearly as a clean edge along a curb on a bright April morning.
