About Romero Lawn Service, LLC

Out on the high plains, Laverne keeps its horizon low and its sky enormous, and the wind crosses the Beaver River bottom with nothing at all to slow it down. Romero Lawn Service mows into that wind, cutting, then edging where concrete meets grass, trimming close to fence corners, foundations and the mailbox, and clearing the cuttings off the walk before the wind can scatter them twice. Harper County summers run hot and dry, and the shortgrass country outside town shows it, which makes a watered, cut lawn in Laverne look like a small act of insistence. Evenings here go long and pink behind the grain elevator, good hours for finishing a yard. The reward is simple: a sharp line, a swept walk, a place that looks tended in a country that hands out nothing.
