March in Creek County is all wind and false starts, the oaks along the section lines still bare and gray one week, the yards south of Kellyville greening at the roots the next. Three Amigos Lawn and Land Services LLC begins the year right there, with a first cut, a winter's worth of limbs and litter raked out from under the trees, and drives edged back to the line the cold months blurred. Kellyville sits where prairie gives way to timber, so a single yard can be half sun and half dapple, and each half asks for something a little different. From there the work runs on through the warm months: mowing, trimming, edging, clearing the concrete. By the time the gravel roads dry out, the whole town looks like spring has been let in.
