About Upper Cuts Tree Services and Stump Grinding, LLC

Hulbert sits in the wooded rise of Cherokee County, Fort Gibson Lake just west of town and the Illinois River country off to the east. Upper Cuts Tree Services and Stump Grinding, LLC works this ground of oak and hickory, where a yard is usually a clearing the woods have agreed to for now. Trimming keeps the canopy off a roofline and opens a drive so a truck fits under it without ducking. When a tree has to come out, the stump goes with it, ground down below grade so a mower passes clean over the spot and grass can close the seam. By the time the chips are raked level, there is nothing left to catch a boot — only a soft patch of ground waiting on seed.
