About Deep Woods Lawn & Firewood Service

The first real cold in Choctaw County shows up overnight, and the hardwood ridges north of Hugo go loud with saws not long after. Deep Woods Lawn & Firewood Service works both ends of the year — mowing, trimming and yard cleanup through the growing months, then cut and split firewood once the stoves come back on. Fall in between means pulling leaves off the turf and clearing whatever the wind brought down. There is a good feeling in a stacked rick and a raked yard on the same afternoon. Hugo is the base, with runs out toward Antlers, Sawyer and Soper.
