About Crowe Lawn Care

Helena keeps its horizon low and its sky enormous, and in June the whole of Alfalfa County goes gold as the wheat comes off around town. A lawn in that country has to hold its own green against a lot of dust and a lot of sun, and that is the job Crowe Lawn Care turns up for — mowing on a steady week, trimming the edges along the elevator-shadowed side streets, and running fertilizer and weed control so the turf can take the heat. Northwest Oklahoma wind never really quits here; it carries seed out of every ditch, which is why a trimming line along a fence has to be walked and not guessed at. Autumn is quieter, all low light and cottonwood leaves piling into the corners, and those get cleared before winter flattens everything down. The reward is small and real: a cut yard on a wide street, standing tidy under all that sky.
