About Gumer Landscaping and Tree Service, LLC.

Poteau Mountain stands over Heavener like a long green wall, and the ravine up on its shoulder holds a runestone older than any argument about it. Gumer Landscaping and Tree Service, LLC. works the ground below — mowing and edging lawns, shaping and clearing beds, trimming limbs back off rooflines, and taking down the pines and hardwoods that have finished their run. Shortleaf pine drops needles all year and the oaks let go all at once, so cleanup here is a season-long conversation. On a clear morning the mist lifts off the Ouachita foothills in sheets, and a freshly cut yard down in town looks like it was ironed. That contrast — wild mountain behind, tidy lawn in front — is the whole pleasure of the work.
