About LANGLEYS HANDYMAN SERVICE LLC

Out past the fence lines in Healdton the pumpjacks keep a slow nod going all day, and a mower falls into something close to the same rhythm — up one row, down the next, until the whole yard reads even from the street. Langleys Handyman Service LLC keeps Carter County lawns cut through a southern Oklahoma summer that starts early and does not let up, when bermudagrass grows faster than anybody's calendar. The work is mowing, string trimming around posts and mailboxes, edging the walks, and blowing every clipping back off the concrete before the truck pulls away. Come fall the blackjacks and hackberries let go all at once, and the leaves get gathered up the same careful way. The best part is the last look back — light gone gold over the old oil-patch country, the edge along the drive drawn straight, the yard quiet and done.
