Yard Aesthetics

About Yard Aesthetics

Late in the day the sun comes in sideways over Guthrie and turns the old brick downtown the color of a ripe peach, and that same low light climbs the streets and finds every lawn on the hill. Yard Aesthetics works in it — mowing in clean parallel passes, edging a walk until the line between grass and concrete is a single crisp seam, trimming the corners no mower can reach. Wind crosses the open ground of Logan County and lays the blades flat for a moment; a well-cut yard holds its shape anyway. Under the blackjack oaks, fall arrives as a slow brown tide across the yard, and leaf clearing becomes the whole errand of a Saturday. The reward is small and complete: a place that looks finished from the sidewalk, and finished again from the porch.
