About WN Tree Service

Elk City stands out on the high plains where the sky takes up most of the view and every elm and cottonwood in town was planted against the wind. WN Tree Service looks after them — tree trimming and pruning to keep a crown balanced against a prevailing gust, tree removal when a tree has finally lost that long argument. Out here a spring storm can be seen coming for an hour before it arrives, and the storm damage cleanup that follows is steady, methodical work: cut, haul, rake, until a yard is level and clear. Autumn evenings on this side of Beckham County go gold and then violet, and a well-shaped tree against that sky is a good thing to leave behind. The pride is simple — shade kept standing in a country that does not give it away.
