Clean Cut Lawns

About Clean Cut Lawns

At midday the sun stands square over Elk City's grid of streets and every shadow pulls in tight underneath. That is the hour a cut has to answer for itself, because the light is honest and a wandering line has nowhere to hide. Clean Cut Lawns mows, edges, trims and clears the clippings so the bermuda comes back even and the sidewalk reads like a drawn edge. Western Oklahoma summers ask plenty of a lawn — heat lifting off the pavement, grass growing anyway — and a yard held to one height all season looks the part in August as much as it did in May. Homes and storefronts around Elk City, Clinton and Canute keep the route turning.
