By November the elms around Stephenson Park have given up most of what they had, and the sandstone holds the low sun a little longer each afternoon. Trinity Lawns spends that stretch pulling leaves off Edmond yards — raking out beds and fence corners, hauling the piles away, giving the grass a last cut so it goes into the cold short and clean. Under all those leaves there is still a lawn, and uncovering it is a good feeling. Edges get re-cut where the summer blurred them. Yard clean-up and mowing for Edmond and the streets around downtown.
