About Perez Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance

By the second week of August in Edmond the cicadas start up before the light does, and the only good working hours are the ones before eight. Perez Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance takes them — trailer down, mowers off, the first yard cut while the grass still holds dew. Edging, string trimming and blowing follow in the same order at every stop, so nothing gets skipped once the heat sets in. Beds are weeded and mulched, shrubs are cut back off the windows, and the drive is cleared before the truck rolls. Late in the afternoon, when the whole town has gone still and hot, those yards have long since been finished.
