Imperial Lawns

About Imperial Lawns

North of Covell the section roads run straight as a ruler out toward Coffee Creek, and the drives off them are long — a hundred yards of concrete with grass on both sides. Imperial Lawns takes those bigger properties the way you have to, in passes: mowing wide first, then coming back for every post, meter and mailbox. Clippings get blown back into the turf and never out into the road. The beds across the front are weeded and re-edged so the house reads properly from the county road. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of a big yard, when the lines finally close up and the whole place goes even and quiet.
