About Huskey Turf Solutions | Lawn Care

Under most Edmond lawns is red clay that packs down hard by the end of a hot summer, and no amount of watering fixes soil that cannot breathe. Huskey Turf Solutions goes at that problem directly — core aeration in the fall, overseeding where fescue holds the shade on the north side of a house, fertilizer timed to what the turf is actually doing rather than to the calendar on the wall. Weed control goes down ahead of the crabgrass instead of after it. Mowing and edging keep the week-to-week looking sharp, but the deeper work is what a lawn shows in its third season. A thick stand of turf crowds out most trouble on its own, which is the entire idea.
