Emerald Lawns

About Emerald Lawns

Stephenson Park sits a block off Broadway under old shade, and the streets around downtown Edmond still have the deep lots and long parkways that came with them. Emerald Lawns mows those older yards, where a mower has to know the tree roots and the sidewalk seams by feel. Edges are cut square along walks that have been in the ground a long while, and the clippings come off the brick and concrete before anyone gets home. In autumn the leaves from those big canopies drop nearly all at once and get cleared out instead of raked into the fence line. A tended older lawn has a settled look to it, and that is the one they are after.
