Out along Skeleton Creek the hay meadows go gold in August, and grasshoppers jump ahead of anything moving through the grass. Logan Land & Ranch Services works the bigger places out there — acreage yards, long drives, the ground around barns and fencerows that a town mower never sees. Lawns are cut and trimmed out to the posts, overgrown patches are taken back down, and gravel drives are blown free of whatever the deck throws.
