Around the middle of March the Bermuda along Cottonwood Creek starts pulling out of its winter tan, one green patch at a time. Apex Sod watches for that turn and puts the first cut of the year on a lawn just as it wakes up. After that it settles into a rhythm: mow, trim around the trees and fence corners, cut the edge back along the sidewalk, clear the drive. Nothing elaborate in any of it — just a yard that looks looked-after from the mailbox on an ordinary Tuesday. Coyle, Langston and Meridian stay on that run until the grass slows in the fall.
