About The Lawn Guy

Spring rain comes down hard on southeastern Oklahoma, and after a wet week the grass in the Blue River bottoms grows like it is making up for lost time. That is when the phone rings for The Lawn Guy — Durant yards gone ankle-deep overnight, ditches soft, everything green and unruly at once. The answer is plain enough: mow it, edge it, run the trimmer around the trees and posts, sweep the walks clear, and be back before it gets away again. Nothing about a well-kept yard is complicated; it is mostly showing up on the day you said you would. By late May those lawns hold their shape, striped and even, and the whole street reads better for it.
