Drumright climbs its ridge, and by late afternoon the light slides down Broadway at an angle that finds every edge in town. Admiralty Clean mows the yards that tilt with that hill, where a pass gets planned before it gets cut and the ground falls away toward the creek bottoms below. Grass is cut, trimmed close along fences, foundations and mailbox posts, then edged so the walks draw a straight line from the street. Drives and porch steps are blown off last, so nothing green is left behind but the lawn itself. From the ridge streets out toward Oilton and Shamrock, the finish is the same at every visit.
