OKIE MOWIN

About OKIE MOWIN

The wind here comes out of the south most days, steady enough to lean on, with a scissortail riding the fence wire watching the mower go past. OKIE MOWIN cuts straight lines across yards that back up to pasture, where a lawn has to hold its own against everything growing on the other side of that wire. Mow, trim, edge, blow — no mystery in the list, just done on schedule and carried all the way into the corners. The proof is that boundary where the yard stops and the prairie starts: crisp, deliberate, unmistakable from the road. Week after week through the growing season, the line stays exactly where it was put.
