About Christian & Son Lawn Care

Past Guthrie the blacktop gives way to red dirt, and Coyle turns up the way small towns on the Logan County prairie do — a school, a handful of straight streets, wheat ground running out to the edge of the sky. Christian & Son Lawn Care keeps the grass here, with mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, and hauling off what the mower and the season leave behind. It is plain, satisfying work in a place where a yard gets measured against a very long horizon, and where the wind coming up off the Cimarron bottoms can dry a lawn out fast by mid-July. The good part is the last pass, when the lines set up parallel to the road and the trimmed edge runs straight as a fence wire. A tidy yard in Coyle reads from a quarter mile off, and that is exactly the point.
