Okies Lawns

About Okies Lawns

Choctaw summers announce themselves in the afternoon, when thunderheads stack up west of town and the light goes green underneath them. Rain like that puts an inch on the grass overnight, and by Thursday every yard on the section wants attention at once. Okies Lawns runs the route anyway — mowing thick wet growth, trimming to the fence, edging a drive back to its concrete, blowing the walks clean. Evening is the reward: the storm gone off east, the air washed, a block of lawns all holding one straight line. Some work you can see from the end of the street, and this is that kind.
