About Loco Gringo lawn care

High summer noon in Chelsea: cicadas cranking in the elms, heat shimmer coming off the gravel, and not much moving that does not have to. Loco Gringo lawn care is out in it anyway, mowing, trimming, edging drives and walks, then clearing every last clipping before rolling on. Grass in this corner of Green Country takes August hard if it gets scalped, so the deck rides high and the passes stay regular. There is a certain comedy in loving this work in that kind of heat, and a certain payoff too, a green even lawn in the hottest week of the year. Somebody has to keep the town looking sharp.
