BLC Pest & Lawn

About BLC Pest & Lawn

There is an hour on the Pathfinder Parkway, just after the Caney River gives up its mist, when the whole town smells of wet pavement and cut grass. BLC Pest & Lawn is out in it, mowers already warm, working the lawns that back up toward the trail. The work is plain and satisfying: grass cut to an even height, string trimmer taken carefully around the mailbox posts, clippings swept off the concrete so nothing tracks indoors. By mid-morning the river fog has burned away and the yards left behind look combed. That is the point of the whole trip out.
