Groden Lawnscapes

About Groden Lawnscapes

Barnsdall keeps a working oil well right in the middle of Main Street, which tells you most of what you need to know about this corner of the Osage. Groden Lawnscapes mows the town around it — the yards up on the sandstone rises, the flat lots down by the school, the long strips that run out toward the section line. Prairie grass and lawn grass argue all summer here, so the trimmer earns its keep along fences, foundations and the alley edge. The mowing pattern gets changed week to week so the turf never learns to lie one way. The finish is simple and it holds: an even cut, a sharp border, and a walk you can step out onto barefoot.
