About Texoma Turf, LLC

South of Ardmore the land tips down toward the Red River, and the wind that comes up off that country in August is hot enough to curl a blade of grass by three in the afternoon. Texoma Turf, LLC builds its week around that fact — mowing early, cutting high enough that the turf shades its own roots, edging and trimming while the ground still has some give in it. Bermuda will take the punishment if you cut it right, and a lawn kept that way stays dense instead of going thin and papery by Labor Day. The satisfaction is in the sweep of it: a full yard, even from fence to fence, holding color through the worst month of the year. That is turf handled on the river's terms rather than against them.
