About Matthew's Lawn & Maintenance Services

From Apache the Wichita Mountains sit low and blue on the southern horizon, and by noon in July the heat comes off the prairie in sheets. Matthew's Lawn & Maintenance Services works those hours anyway — town yards, church lots, the wide places out along Cache Creek where the grass runs all the way to the tree line. Red dirt and hard sun make for uneven turf, so the mower height is set to protect it and the trimmer takes the posts, the meters and the culvert edges. What sells the job is the finish: a swept walk, a clean line at the curb, nothing blown out into the street. Come evening a cut yard out here holds the last of the light like a table set for supper.
