About Big Country Lawn and Tree Service LLC

Spring comes up out of the Kiamichi foothills in a rush — pine going bright, oak leafing late, thunder stacking in the southwest by mid-afternoon. Big Country Lawn and Tree Service keeps the yards of Antlers ahead of it, mowing and trimming through the long wet stretch when grass in Pushmataha County grows an inch overnight. Storms leave their signature in limbs across a driveway, so the tree side of the work is pruning, clearing what came down, and taking the danger out of whatever leans wrong above a roof. The reward is plain and it shows from the road: a clean line at the fence, a yard opened back up to the evening light, the drive passable again. This is timber country with a town set down in the middle of it, and the job is keeping the woods on friendly terms with the houses among them.
