Mamas Beau

About Mamas Beau

In early June the roadsides outside Alma catch fire with Indian blanket, Oklahoma's state wildflower, spilling red and gold along the gravel lanes. Late afternoon is when that color glows hardest, the sun slanting low over stock ponds and barbed-wire pasture. Mamas Beau does lawn care in Alma, keeping grass cut and yards tidy so a house can hold its own beside all that wild bloom. A lawn trimmed close to the walk and clean along the drive makes every homecoming feel a little more deliberate. Out here, where the sky takes up most of the view, Mamas Beau gives the ground beneath it an orderly, welcoming face.
