About Dalton Lawn Service

Down in the river bottom toward Duncan Falls and Philo, fog lies on the grass most summer mornings until the sun finally burns it off. Dalton Lawn Service starts in that fog — mowing, trimming and edging the flat lots along the water, hauling off what the cleanup turns up, keeping a season's growth in check. When the year turns, the same ground gets the other treatment: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, salting where damp bottomland freezes hardest. River air makes for heavy dew and heavy ice, and both reward an early start. Zanesville and the villages downstream get the full calendar's worth.
