About Handles With Care “outdoor services”

Late in October the hill that drops from Wick Avenue into Smoky Hollow fills up with leaves, and Youngstown's oldest maples let go of a whole year in about four windy days. Handles With Care "outdoor services" shows up for that reckoning with rakes, blowers and a truck bed that goes back and forth until the lawn underneath is visible again and breathing. Through the green season it is mowing and trimming on a steady turn; when the cold sets its jaw, it is plows on the drive and shovels where a plow can never reach, salt across the steps that everyone actually uses. Handing a place back in better shape than you found it is the whole idea, whether that means bagged leaves at the curb or a path a person can walk without holding the railing. The name says it out loud, and the yards say it back.
