Paradise Composting

About Paradise Composting

Wooster keeps to the rolling middle of Wayne County, farm ground on every side and the town climbing the hill where the college stands. On a July afternoon the whole place smells like cut grass and coming rain, and Paradise Composting is out in it, mowing on a regular turn, trimming the edges, letting the fine clippings fall back into the turf where they feed it. Lawns here grow on good ground and they know it, so height and timing do more for a yard than anything else. Fall means leaves off the grass and beds cleaned out before the Wayne County wind gets serious; spring means clearing the winter litter so new green can come up unimpeded. A well-kept lawn in this county holds its own next to all that farmland, which is saying something.
