About Ohio Snow & Ice Partners

There is a line running inland from the Lake Erie shore where an ordinary flurry becomes a foot of snow, and Willoughby sits right where it begins. Ohio Snow & Ice Partners works that geography — plowing drives and lots, clearing sidewalks, spreading salt ahead of a freeze and again once it has passed. The trick with lake-effect is that it does not end when the storm does; the wind keeps feeding bands off open water for days at a time. So the routes get run again, and again, until the pavement is dark and every walk is sure underfoot. Winter in Lake County is long, and it gets met one pass at a time.
