Lassiter & Son

About Lassiter & Son

Three in the morning on the hill where SOM Center climbs away from the lake, and the snow is coming in a band whose edge you can actually see. Lassiter & Son runs Willoughby driveways and lots through nights like that — plow down, salt spread, back around again when the band refills what was just cleared. Lake County sits under the snowbelt, and a storm that only dusts downtown Cleveland can bury the ridge towns east of here. The work gets measured in cleared aprons and bare walkways at daybreak, in nobody having to give it a thought. Then the trucks go quiet until the next line of cloud comes off the water.
