Mowing and Plowing

About Mowing and Plowing

The name is the calendar. From April into November, Mowing and Plowing runs the mowers through Wickliffe — cutting, trimming, edging, tending beds, laying mulch in spring and clearing leaves once the oaks give up. Then the deck comes off, the blade goes on, and those same yards become driveways to open at four in the morning while snow comes down off the water. Salt on the walks, sidewalks shoveled, banks pushed back for the next round. A town this size rewards knowing every turn of it, in grass and in snow alike.
