Weed Busters

About Weed Busters

Weather reaches Westerville from the west with the whole flat plain to build on, so you can watch it coming: a July thunderhead stacking up beyond the last subdivision on West Main, or in January a clipper line dragging a gray wall of snow ahead of it. Weed Busters is set up for both ends of that. In the green months it is lawn care — mowing, string trimming, edging along the concrete, and cleanups that keep clippings and leaves off the turf. In the cold months it is snow removal — the plow through the driveway, the shovel on the walk, salt laid where the ice will otherwise set up hard. Two trades, one town, and the same satisfaction either way: ground you can walk across without thinking, in whatever the sky has just finished doing.
